⁠ do you still do 10% water changes with pure ro water now and then when you see a creep in tds? Or have you stopped doing water changes completely?

Hi, i am from Indonesia... Next month i will have my first aquascape tank (well its small😅, 20x20x25).. I plan to keep shrimp and little fish in there.. And i plan to have tap water for my tank.. So i need prepare the water first before my tank coming?

Hi Mark! - in your opinion, with a healthy amount of leaf litter, would you think a well established tank running for over a year would be fine without feeding for 2 weeks? or would you advise on maybe a weekly feeding?

I'm going to share my ways of changing water (5-gallon tanks). - 2 times a week, I check the ammonia levels (nitrate/nitrite), if it's above/equal to 0.25 ppm I do a 5-10% water change - 130-140 TDS = Water change 5-10% (maintaining 110-120) - Above 6.0 ph = Water change 5-10% (maintaining 5.30-5.80)

Enjoyed. You don't have to worry about zooming in because I can zoom in my RUclips and see the shrimp & her beebes. Oh if you hang like Dial soap which is strong smelling from your trees the deer should leave them alone.

How much catalase should I put if i'm using a 12% H202 concentration?

I actually bought some red cherry shrimp from a store they died within a couple of weeks water and everything was fine 6 for £30 but 10 for £19 of eBay they are fine had them ages now not sure why the others died the ones from eBay aren’t as red but some have became more red

Dear Mark, love the new format. Have you checked local nurseries for Walnut trees selected to survive in your area? It’s saved me precious time and money since I moved to SW England. ✌️

What is the purpose of acidifying (is that a word) the water change water? Is it to improve the longevity of buffering soil so it has less work to do? From my experience RO water exposed to air acts like a sponge and 'sucks in' co2 and by doing so concerts that to carbonic acid and lowers ph. I use fulvic and humic acids in similar forms to yourself but for those specific acids as present in the shrimp natural environment rather than as a ph changer (although I appreciate that they do) Great video by the way

It's still early Saturday morning here, but happy to catch your upload! I just acquired a small countertop reverse osmosis system for my Crystals; our local water is quite hard, so far the new system's water been helping keep things stable, and the shrimps don't have to put up with me dickering with their parameters quite so often. Also, Lucy's ADORABLE!❤

How do you dry out the spinach? Low heat oven like 50c or dehydrate setting on air fryer then just blitz it up in grinder or mortar and pestle?

Can I add equilibrium or shrimpminerals into the tap water also?

I have had my tank running for about a year with only 2 nerite snails and i finally decided to add something else so I have recently bought 6 shrimp from everyone's favourite auction site and I will be honest I am not entirely sure what I am doing but after observing them for a while they seem to be happy enough grazing on the substrate.

okay... so i had 5 shrimps, few days later i saw some transparent thing looking like a dead shrimp ?!?! after seeing this video i now understand what happened, but why i have minus shrimps in my aquarium now ? 🤣
